Medical Nutrition Therapist

Heather Lutz is an important part of Tahoe Forest Cancer Center’s commitment to comprehensive care. Since illness and its treatment can make it difficult to eat and to maintain a healthy weight, Heather is on-hand to educate patients about their particular nutritional needs and help them understand how to keep their bodies strong. She does her part to make visits to our center comfortable and convenient by meeting patients where they receive other consultations and treatments so that they don’t have to add another appointment to their busy schedules.

Heather received her bachelor of science degree in nutritional science at California State University, San Jose, and her master’s in clinical nutrition at Rush University in Chicago, Illinois.
