Michelle Larson, MPT, CLT-LANA

Director of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Services

Michelle Larson, MPT is an important part of Tahoe Forest Cancer Center’s commitment to comprehensive care. Michelle received her bachelor of science degree from Washington State University. She then received her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Chapman University/Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. In 2001 Michelle obtained her certification as a Lymphedema Therapist from the Vodder School and the Lymphology Association of North America (CLT-LANA). Recently, she became a Clinical Exercise Specialist with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). She is currently pursuing a specialized certification in Cancer Exercise Training through ACSM, which she hope to receive fall 2010.

Heather received her bachelor of science degree in nutritional science at California State University, San Jose, and her master’s in clinical nutrition at Rush University in Chicago, Illinois.
