Jim earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics with a minor in Spanish from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania in 1974. In 1979, Jim earned his Masters in Health Administration and Planning from Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri.
With over 35 years of management experience in health care, Jim joined the Tahoe Forest Gene Upshaw Memorial Cancer Center Team in 2017. He was drawn to join this multidisciplinary cancer team because of the breadth of services offered and a very visible awareness that diagnosing and treating cancer is complex, requiring many talented individuals to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual care needed.
Jim has two sons, two daughters and seven grandchildren.
