Josh grew up in the small farming community of Kingsburg in the central San Joaquin valley. He obtained a degree in Biology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo while also working as an EMT for San Luis Ambulance, and he loves to return to the central coast as often as possible.
He got his first experience in clinical research while working as a scribe for a medical oncologist at University of Virginia who specialized in Melanoma and Sarcoma. This experience led him down the path to pursue a career in Oncology clinical research, as he had first-hand exposure to the importance of investigational drug development as a resource for cancer patients. Josh moved to Truckee and started his current position at the Cancer Center in September 2018.
When not at work, you can find him hiking, snowboarding, paddle boarding, attempting to fly fish, or relaxing at home playing guitar.
